Blood Flow Restriction Training
Blood flow restriction training is a technique that allows you to build muscle and enhance the healing of tissues without needing to use heavy weights. Partially restricting blood flow to the limb during exercise creates a state of metabolic stress that tricks your body into responding to light loads that normally wouldn’t cause adaptation. Blood flow restriction training works above and below the cuff, which makes it useful for hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, and spinal conditions.
